What is ProDentim?
ProDentim is a chewable oral probiotic aimed at people looking into gums, teeth, breath and the oral microbiome. Key ingredients include Inulin, Lactobacillus paracasei, and Lactobacillus reuteri.
What is in ProDentim?
- Inulin — is a fermentable prebiotic fiber that can support gut bacteria but may also increase gas or bloating.
- Lactobacillus paracasei — is part of a probiotic approach, where effects are strain- and dose-specific rather than interchangeable across products.
- Lactobacillus reuteri — is part of a probiotic approach, where effects are strain- and dose-specific rather than interchangeable across products.
- Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 — is part of a probiotic approach, where effects are strain- and dose-specific rather than interchangeable across products.
- Malic acid — is an organic acid involved in normal cellular energy pathways; its presence does not by itself establish an oral-health benefit.
- Tricalcium phosphate — is essential for bone and muscle function.
Also listed: Peppermint.
Can ProDentim reverse gum disease, cavities or tooth damage?
ProDentim combines prebiotic fiber with oral-probiotic strains and mineral ingredients. That makes oral-microbiome support a reasonable way to describe the product, but it has not been shown to repair cavities, reverse periodontitis or replace brushing, flossing and dental treatment.
Which ProDentim formula is being described?
Marketing imagery and label-oriented reviews have not always matched. The current Supplement Facts panel is more reliable than promotional ingredient graphics. For this reason, only the overlap that can be matched to the identified version is treated as settled.
ProDentim side effects and cautions
Inulin deserves a closer look: it can cause gas or bloating and can change absorption of medicines if taken too close together.
